Terms of Use

These terms apply to Rust Cow Tracker (rustcowtracker.com), run by Sypher Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you buy an ad, the Advertiser Terms below also apply.

1. Using the tracker

• The tracker is free and you don't need an account. Use it to track your own Rust cows and share lists with people you choose.
• Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload or get around its security, no automated scraping of other people's shared lists, and nothing illegal.
• Your cows are saved in your own browser. Browsers can clear this data, so export a backup of anything you care about. We aren't responsible for lost data.
• Anyone with a shared-list link can view it, and edit links let people change it. Only send links to people you trust.

2. Game information

Gene values, breeding odds and guide content come from community research and our own estimates. Facepunch can change the game at any time. We do our best to keep things accurate but don't guarantee it.

3. Not affiliated with Facepunch

Rust Cow Tracker is a fan-made tool. It isn't made, endorsed or sponsored by Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios Ltd.

4. Feedback

If you send ideas or feedback, we can use them to improve the site without owing you anything.

5. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Sypher Technologies LLC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (for most users, $0).

7. Advertiser Terms

Plans and payment

• Ads are sold for 7 days or 30 days at the prices shown on the Advertise page when you buy, paid once through Stripe. Price changes never affect time you've already paid for. Payments don't renew automatically; you can buy more time from your ad account.
• There are 7 ad spots. You pick an open spot when you set up your ad. The time you paid for starts when we approve the ad, not when you pay.
• We review every ad, usually within 24 hours.

Ad rules

Ads must not promote:

• cheats, hacks, scripts, exploits or anything that breaks Rust's or Facepunch's rules
• porn or sexual content
• anything illegal, including scams, phishing or malware
• hate, harassment or violence against real people

Gambling and skin sites are allowed, but they must follow the laws that apply to them. You're responsible for your ad and everything it links to, and you confirm you have the rights to the text, images and brands in it.

Our rights

• We can reject an ad, ask you to change it, or stop it at any time if it breaks these rules or we reasonably think it harms players or the site.
• You can edit a live ad. Edits are checked, and an edit that breaks the rules can get the ad stopped.
• We may display your ad in different sizes and layouts on desktop and mobile.

Refunds

• If we reject your ad before it goes live, you get a full refund.
• After an ad goes live, payments aren't refundable, including when we stop an ad for breaking these rules.
• If the site has a major outage that stops your ad from showing for more than 24 hours in a row, contact us and we'll add the lost time to your ad.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe.

Views and clicks

We show view and click counts for your ad. They're for your information; we don't guarantee any number of views, clicks or results.

Your account

Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your ad account. You can reset your password from the ad account page.

8. Changes and ending access

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. We may change or shut down any part of the site. If we ever shut down ad spots early, we'll refund the unused days of any running ads.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
